The Nuseibeh Family name comes from Lady Nuseibeh (Nusaybah) Bint Ka'ab, of the Khazraj Tribe, also known as Umm Ummarah, one of the early women to convert to Islam, and was one of the powerful figures in Medinah before Islam. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nusaybah
It is an Arabic name, and in the Arabic language diacritics, or accents, above and below a character determine the pronunciation, so the spelling in English really depends on the various family members and the educational system followed by them or their forefathers, so you will find the name spelled as Nusseibeh, Nusaibeh, Nuseibah, Nusaybe, Nusayba, Nusaybah, Nusaiba and several other English pronunciations. However, they are all one and the same family, spelled as it may be in English. The Nuseibeh Family still has substantial members now living in Jerusalem, but as is the case with many Palestinian families, many now reside in the Diaspora, literally in all continents of the world, Asia, Europe, North and South America, and Australia.
